Well, alot happened at my last doc appointment.
On Thursday, Dec. 3, I went in to have a sonogram and a NST (non-stress test.) Sonogram showed the weights:
Baby A: 4 lbs and 8 oz.
Baby B: 5 lbs and 4 oz.
Then they hooked me up to the NST. This test monitors baby's heartbeats and contrations. Well, both babies heartbeeps were perfect. Everything going as planned, but then the nurse came in and said, "Skye, you're contracting." I said, "what?" She said, "can you feel those?" I said, "well, a little bit, but I am not in pain." So the doctor came in and she said, "I am gonna send you upstairs to get a shot to stop the contractions."
The good news is that I have not started to dilate. Everything is still closed up just like it is suppose to be. Let's hope that it can continue to stay closed.
Well, they stopped for a little bit and I took Friday off of school. Well, Friday morning I had a few more and took the meds that she prescribed me. She told me to call them if I had to take the meds. So then the doctor called me and prescribed another med. that I take three times a day.
I am gonna go back to work tomorrow and see if my principal will let me only work until one and then go home. We'll see. I really don't want to be put on bed rest. But I will do whatever it takes to keep these little punkin's cookin' a little longer.
Hopefully, I can make it until Dec. 21. That will be 37 weeks and that is the magic week.
So thoughts and prays would be great right about now.
'Til next time~
